Do Your Teeth Hurt?

Generalized tooth pain is often described as a dull ache. Extreme temperatures, sweets, or biting into certain foods may aggravate tooth pain. There are a number of reasons why your teeth might hurt:
  • Tooth grinding—often a response to stress
  • Exposed roots
  • Sensitivity to hot or cold food or drinks
  • Tooth decay
  • Gingivitis inflammation
  • Gum/tooth infection
Tooth pain should not be ignored. If your teeth hurt, contact us today to schedule an appointment.

Having Difficulty Chewing?

If you are having difficulty chewing while eating, it is important to determine the cause. Problems with chewing can be related to tooth loss, gum disease, cavities, or even ill-fitting dentures. Difficulty chewing may also be a sign of temporomandibular disorders (TMD).

TMD can be caused by injury to the jaw, joints, or muscles of the head or neck, or grinding teeth, stress, or arthritis. If you are having difficulty chewing, don’t ignore this sign. Schedule an appointment today so that we can determine the problem and provide a solution.

Embarrassed to Smile?

Do you avoid smiling or having photos taken because you’re embarrassed by the appearance of your teeth? Do you feel uncomfortable in social situations or at work? Johns Dental understands the difference a confident smile can make in someone’s life. A beautiful smile not only makes you feel great but also can reduce anxiety and improve attitudes. Whether you want to improve one tooth or have a full smile makeover, we offer a variety of options to suit your needs and budget.

What to Expect as a New Patient
